Rules, Terms & Conditions

GamesDay is a venue-based digital games platform operated by Scan Play Win, a Business Unit of Hospitality Analysts Pty Ltd ABN 28 143 256 491 ("we", "us", "our"). Players access the platform free of charge by scanning a QR code at a participating venue and entering the venue's current access PIN. Games include Scratch and Match, Trivia (Tournaments and On-Demand), Sort the Deck, Match Up!, Snakes & Ladders, Rolling 18, Only 19, Noughts & Crosses, Seven Dice, Roll A Number, Darts, Bowling, Lawn Bowls, Nearest the Pin, Predictive Games and Sports Bonanza. All games are games of skill.

• You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. • You must be physically present at a participating venue to access the platform via QR code. • You must provide accurate personal information during registration including your real name, email address, mobile number, and venue postcode. • Employees of Scan Play Win and immediate family members are not eligible to win prizes. • One registration per person. Duplicate registrations will be removed.

• Registration is free. Access to games is free of charge. • Access at the venue requires the venue's current PIN, which is displayed at the venue or provided by venue staff. • Your venue may set a daily limit on the number of games you can play. • Some venues may offer optional paid extras (such as e-books). Any such purchases are in Australian Dollars (AUD), are processed securely via Stripe, and we do not store your payment card details. Purchases are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. • Your access applies to the venue where you registered.

• Teams consist of a captain plus up to 3 additional members. • Team names must be exactly 6 characters and must not contain offensive or inappropriate language. • The team captain is responsible for registering all team members accurately. • Team names can only be changed once for the duration of the tournament. • All team members must be registered with valid details and meet the eligibility requirements.

• All games on the GamesDay platform are games of skill. Prizes are awarded based on player performance. • Players must answer questions independently. Collusion, cheating, or using external assistance (including internet searches, AI tools, or coaching from others during play) is strictly prohibited. • Players must not share game questions, answers, or content externally during or after a game session. • Navigating away from the game, refreshing the browser, or closing the app during a session will terminate that session with no replay entitlement. • Any attempt to manipulate scores, exploit bugs, or interfere with the platform will result in immediate disqualification and permanent banning. • We reserve the right to suspend or ban any player found to be in a breach of these rules at our sole discretion.

• The platform tracks violation counts automatically. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension. • Suspended players will be notified of the ban end date and may contact support to appeal. • Access may be revoked for the duration of any ban or suspension.

• Prizes are awarded to the highest-scoring eligible player(s) in each game or tournament as described in the game lobby. • In the event of a tie, prizes will be shared equally unless otherwise specified. • Prize winners will be contacted via the email address provided at registration. • Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited. • Consolation prizes will be awarded as advertised. • We reserve the right to verify the identity of prize winners before payment. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and age. • Prize values are as advertised at the time of play. We reserve the right to change prize values for future games.

All games offered on the GamesDay platform are games of skill, not games of chance. Outcomes are determined solely by the player's knowledge, speed, and skill in answering questions or completing game tasks. This platform does not constitute gambling under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth) or any applicable state or territory legislation.

• We collect personal information (name, email, mobile, postcode) for the purpose of operating the platform, managing registrations, and administering prizes. • Your data will not be sold to third parties. • We may use your email to send game-related notifications and prize communications. • You may request removal of your data by contacting us at wayne@scanplaywin.com.au. • For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy at the venue entry page.

All game content, questions, graphics, and platform design are the intellectual property of Scan Play Win. Reproduction, distribution, or use of any content without written permission is strictly prohibited.

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance or technical issues may temporarily affect availability. • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
